About the Department
The Pharmacy Department was established in 2012. In addition to the department head and its coordinator, the department comprises a distinguished group of academic professors holding PhD and Master’s degrees with distinguished scientific titles in the field of pharmacy, in addition to administrative and technical staff. The department includes well-equipped scientific laboratories with state-of-the-art laboratory equipment from international sources.
The department undertakes teaching undergraduate studies in five stages, with approximately 1000 students annually, graduating students after five years with a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and the Pharmacists Syndicate.
Vision: The Pharmacy Department strives to excel in its performance in teaching pharmaceutical sciences in service to the community and its health institutions. It also aims to attract scientific talents on one hand and to be an attraction for students interested in studying pharmacy on the other hand
Mission: To equip graduates with theoretical and practical pharmaceutical sciences to produce competent pharmacists capable of providing pharmaceutical services to the community and healthcare institutions. To work on implementing quality to promote scientific advancement in the pharmaceutical field by enhancing a modern educational environment aimed at developing students’ capabilities and skills to work in private pharmacies, pharmaceutical factories, healthcare, research, and educational institutions.

To encourage students towards future specialized pharmaceutical programs to practice pharmacy in all its forms and in a deeper and more service-oriented manner, including access to postgraduate studies.
To urge students to positively interact with healthcare community problems and human aspects, and to provide appropriate solutions to contribute to developing the community’s health culture.
To provide advanced devices and programs to stimulate student research in various pharmaceutical and applied sciences.
